Why the need of face masks?
So why face Masks? We are currently living in an unfamiliar world and experiencing very testing times of worry & uncertainty. The viral disease causing the Covid-19 pandemic has taken the world by storm with its very easily transmissible traits. Proving to be quite a challenge to overcome. This is why it is vital to take the necessary precautions, advised by professionals, to prevent & protect ourselves and others from infection.
Unfortunately, it is not always possible for all of us to simply stay home. Sometimes we have to go out for groceries, go to work or do some other mandatory chores and duties. So, since it is impossible to stay home at all times, when we do go out, we should definitely do whatever we can to take the necessary precautions. It has been recommended that we maintain a physical distance of about six feet between each other. We should not shake hands. We should always wear a face mask and gloves. And on returning home, we must make sure to wash our hands thoroughly with soap for at least 20 seconds. It has also been advised to change our clothing and place our going out clothes separately from our home clothes.
Taking all the above safety advice & measures into consideration, we have now come to realise we are living in a time where masks have become the next norm of public life. Face masks are now a much-needed necessity for those who need to go out. They help in reducing the spread of germs and protect the transmission of disease. They are also helpful to those that are allergic to dust particles or suffer from hayfever.
How And When To Wear A Mask:
Before wearing a mask one should keep in mind that his/her hands should be sterilized. After sterilization, he/she should hold a mask from the ear loops, position them appropriately over the ears and covering the mouth and nose. Everyone’s face is a unique shape and size therefore masks should be worn according to ones’ facial fit.
